Black lashes frame black eyes
Short hair frames a round face
Tanned skin covers a 5"0 body
Scars, years old, cover tanned skin.
In the mirror:
 Two bodies
  Two faces
   One mind.
The mirror conveys an
exact replica of
        me.
But, the mirror is wrong
(or so it seems)
Is my skin really that scarred?
Are my eyes really that veiled?
Am I really that insecure
about who I am
thatImustaskmyselfthisthroughamirroreventhoughIknow
themirrorcan'torwon'tanswerme
becasueitsvirtuallyimpossible?
(deep breath)
Or am I really just that dense?
