Scars
Both inside and out
of my body.
Scars that have damaged my
skin and heart.
Scars
faded to a light
brown color.
Scars
Some no one can see
except me.
Scars
That have shown me
what pain truly is.
Scars
that have made me realize,
“I am truly Alone.”
Scars
that have made me
a true fighter.
Scars
that aren’t given
but won in battle.
Scars
that show what
I have been through.
Scars that show who
I truly am: A Fighter.
Scars that aren’t cuts,
but rather trophies.
Scars
that show what
I’ve been through.
Scars that used to be
bleeding wounds.
Scars
that have only
made me stronger.
