Firework

Blue, red, yellow, green
the most wondrous sight
that I have ever seen.
Roman candle, waterfall,
So many displays,
How can I name them all?
Bright against a midnight sky;
So neon bright
as they fly up high.
Bursting in stages as they release 
such a sight of beauty,
serenity and peace.
Along comes a brand new year;
too bad we must wait
12 months for these sights to reappear.
